This resort is in a prime location in a beautiful part of key west. there were lots of nice amenities including a private beach, three pools, and several bars/restaurants in site. i was given an upgraded room that faced the water, which was very nice. the room itself was ok. the floors were not carpeted (probably because of the sand) and so always seemed cold, and also sandy, even before we went to the beach. the room was otherwise clean with a very nice shower, a giant tv and a king-size bed. buyer beware... i don't recall seeing anything that told me about the resort fee when i booked my room (i could have missed it if it was buried in fine print). it's on the hotel website though i didn't think to check there. the resort fee was $35/night on top of the price of the room. so when considering a booking, make sure you add that $35/night to the cost in your head and make sure you're still getting the deal you think you are. parking was an additional $25/night, so is not included in the resort fee i guess.
