This hotel served its purpose, but was not as stylish as the reviews suggested. the location was excellent, but the up keep of the rooms was poor. peeling paint, missing light bulbs and smoke alarms was not impressive. there was no champagne on arrival as suggested in a previous review, and there was no mini bar. there was only one computer in reception working. it all gave the impression that the hotel was tired and in need of some attention, if it is going to keep up with the competition in new york.
