The worst vacation ever!!!

We booked a triple room at a "4 star hotel". from the first night we had some trouble. when we arrived at the hotel we didn't have a reservation and they sent us at another hotel, though we returned the next morning. when we got back to the hotel, we were given a double room with an extra bed. not to mention that the room was very small, the bath was not disinfected, shampoo and shower gel for one person only, no sewing kit, no shoe polish, no nothing. the housekeepers were very rude. they would enter our room when we were sleeping and started cleaning and talking. that never happened to us before. we had half board, but we didn't eat anything. the food was terrible: left-overs, spoiled food; it smelled awful.as a matter of fact, we had to spend a double amount of money on the food and searching for restaurants. the bars were never supplied (all three of them). the waiters had to carry chips, snacks and drinks from one bar to another when they ran out. there was this one time when we asked for a drink they didn't have, so the bartender called the beach bar (we were at the garden bar) for a glass of vermouth. because the lack of supplies, the bartenders did not have proper liqueur to mix drinks (if you can call a glass of colored water with a vague taste of orange a drink). not to mention they did not have fruits to garnish the drinks. one night, they had to carry half an orange from a bar to another. the pool was very small (regardless the pictures from their site) and very dirty. apart the fact that the hotel was horrible, not a 4 star hotel for sure, crete is a very dirty island, it literally stinks wherever you go. if you want to take pictures you must stay in the car to be able to breathe. the people are lazy and mean. i don't know about tourism in greece, but for me, it's absent. we've travelled in many countries such as england, italy, france, switzerland, austria, holland etc. and none of these things has ever happened to us. don't get fooled of the pictures posted on their site. i don't recommend this hotel not even to the people i hate. i don't have any pictures to post because we don't want to remember this vacation.
