Great location, shame about the rest.

Really disappointing. there was no hot water - if i wanted a cold bath i would have stayed at home and saved a fortune. the bathroom looked really outdated. the plugs in both the bath and sink didn't work. the toilet was faulty. the lift took an age to arrive and when it did, invariably it went to the wrong floor. i'd have preferred to walk but you can't even do that because an out of bounds office lies below. i'd hoped to be able to use the internet but the keyboard in the room was broken. breakfast is adequate but no more. great location and views but for the price, it's absolutely shocking value. four star, not likely!

Satisfactory hotel with great views

The hotel was a little 'shabby'. outdated furnishings and curtains hanging off their hooks. corridors and communal areas were a bit dark and drab - although it did look as if some areas had been improved recently. location was good for me, and breakfast was adequate with great views across london rooftops from the restaurant (although not a hotel for anyone who doesn't like heights).

Hôtel très agréable - a pleasant place

Emplacement plus qu'idéal: à deux pas d'oxford street, mais dans une rue assez tranquille. chambre agréable et spacieuse. grande salle de bain, propre, même si le robinet de la baignoire était un peu défectueux. nécessaire pour faire le thé/café. très belle vue depuis la chambre d'hôtel et la salle du petit déjeuner. petit-déjeuner inclus et très complet. accueil chaleureux. service pour garder les bagages. quelques bars et restaurants agréables très proches de l'hôtel. je suis très satisfaite de mon séjour à cet hôtel et je le recommande vivement. very nicely located: near oxford street but in a quiet street. nice, big room overlooking the city (14th floor) nice bathroom although the tap was disfunctionning coffee/tea set continental breakfast included helpful staff at the reception left luggage service a few good bars/restaurants near the hotel. i would highly recommend this hotel!
