I like the rose because the rooms are comfortable and the staff cannot do enough for you. they are quick and efficient, courteous and friendly in a respectful manner. i like everything about the rose - vicinity right by the metro, the facilities - nice pool and spa and excellent cuisine. unfortunately, although one books for a non-smoking room, there seems to be the smell of smoke that infiltrates everything. i am not sure if this is due to a central air-conditioning facility and if this can be overcome. i find this in most hotels unfortunately.
