The food was lovely. we had two breakfasts and an evening meal in the hotel. there was plenty of choice and the staff were great. we were given a double room at the front of the hotel, but the noise from the a23 traffic was unbearable and the window didn't fit properly to keep the noise out.we asked to swap to a room at the back of the hotel.this was carried out straight away. if you don't want to drive into brighton the bus stop is right outside the hotel. it's a good 30 min walk into town from the hotel. the website seemed to suggest that the hotel had a swimming pool, sauna and other leisure facilities. but apparently this has not been the case for at least 3 years! the facilities section needs updating to avoid disappointment..........
