Found all of the staff really helpful & friendly and a delight to talk to. breakfast was superb, as muuch as you can possibly eat, its cost being included in the price of the accomodation. dinner was £12.50 for two courses, very good and great value for the money. a safe car parking area was included which was also free.

Selected this room for a weekend trip to scotland for the rugby and to meet up with friends. on arrival at our twin room my brother and i were disappointed to discover that there was one lovely double bed and a single sofa bed. unfortunately if i was travelling and needed a twin room again i would not book the premier inn.

The hotel was smaller than it appeared on the internet. however, it was just as described in terms of decor and facilities. the room was clean and the bathroom bright. there were the usual toiletries and complimantary tea and coffee, only decaf unfortunately but my friend didn't notice. the location was quite good but unfortunately we had booked entertainment and an excursion which took place across the city. the buchanan bus station was a bit of a hike but taxis are very reasonable between £4-£7 depending on the distance. a taxi to central station was only £4. the breakfast was plentiful and fresh. only minor moan, the receptionist couldn't tell us about the local buses. there is a bus stop adjacent to the hotel that serves the whole city. she advised us to get a taxi. over all i would recommend the tulip inn as a good place to stay.

Nice hotel, clean and friendly - 15 mins walk to city centre. usual buffet breakfast and quieter than the hotels nearer the town. only problem was one lift and i arrived at the same time as two coach loads of tourists - could not get bag to room for an hour!
