Our room on the 6th floor looked out onto very run down apartment blocks and other metal tower blocks. windows dirty. asked to change room but was only offered an upgrade to de luxe @ £70 extra per night. we were only staying for 2 nights so did not think it worth it. had room only basis because i do not like breakfast but when i went with my husband to the breakfast buffet i was not allowed to have just a cup of coffee but was asked to pay the continental breakfast @ hk$138 which made my coffee far too expensive and so declined and just watched my husband digging into a good buffet breakfast. i found the staff quite disinterested and the uniforms were in some cases quite dirty and of poor quality. the staff in general were ok but as i say disinterested, so are probably poorly paid.
