Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. location is fantastic, within walking distance to shopping, restaurants and bars. nyx is a smaller hotel, which to myself is preferable to the large chain hotels in thesurrounding area.

Really nice hotel, not too big and immaculately clean. staff very friendly and helpful. food of a very high standard, but could have done with a few more vegetarian dishes. unfortunately, there is a massive construction site next door and the noise is huge, but once it's build, the noise will of course stop. overall, excellent.

The bedroom was too cold, the bed had only one thin blanket, no extra blankets, had to ask for one and they didn't brought it until the 2nd day that i asked again. the hot water takes forever to come out. it isn't the most clean place, found dead insects next to the microwave. you can hear everything everything that's going on on the room next door.

We booked standard room, but reception led to us to basic room. the room was humid and smelled. only small window was there. we couldn't believe this room was worth $100 per night. it was just like jail! we went and check the reception again and found the room was basic room. so we moved to standard room next to the basic room. the room was not humid and no smell, but we found the towl with stains in shower room. it seemed there were two part in this hotel and we stayed side part of the building with no elevator. the reception offed us junior sweet if we pay $50 more per night. we checked the room, but it smelled and humid again! so we took standard room. the restraunt waiter was not skilled and the table cross and nife were with food particles on.
