We were very pleased with the location of the hotel and all the facilities. when we arrived the staff were very friendly, they even upgraded us to a suite which we found very luxurious. for breakfast you had everything you could ever want to eat, the food was hot and fresh. the pool and swimming area into the sea was well set out, you could not fault a thing, i would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to one day returning to dubrovnik.

We satyed at the neptun for 3 nights in may.it is a very good hotel for a 3 star. exceptionally clean,lovely views out to sea and only a 10 min bus ride to the old town.the bus is very regular and the old town beautiful. i would have no hesitation in staying here again

Despite the fact that i had a "confirmed" booking, when i arrived at this hotel last saturday evening (having travelled from milan and rome), they didn't have a room for me. instead, i was brought to a nearby hotel (the president), which was fine for one night. i am not sure it it was better or worse, as i didn't see any of the rooms at the neptun. it seems extraordinary that my booking was confirmed, and there was no room when i arrived.

Hotel staff were very pleasant but they could be better informed and the service could be improved. when you come in at 9.55 pm and are told you cannot purchase a hot beverage because everything is locked you are a little less than impressed with the service the hotel has to offer. also, staff on more than one occasion, gave us incorrect information and they never had bus tickets for us to purchase - yes they had one! they could also give you the option of accepting or refusing the dubrovnik programme besides having to go to the tourist information to find out where it could be acquired. we also had workmen/painters outside our bedroom door at 7.30 am.

The hotel was beautiful with lifts to your floor. the rooms although small were comfortable. the air conditioning was excellent. bathroom facilities were excellent. the only drawback was that there was only one key available for each room which was a pain if you separated from your room mate!
