Staff is very friendly and always helpfull. the hotel is situated in the 'old centre' of rome (15 minutes walk to the st. pieter and colosseum) and is therefor very suitable to have as central point. we did everything walking, which was possible because of the location of the hotel. we felt very safe every where (also round the hotel), because there is enough police, because the parlement is seated nearby. also the best 'gelaterio' is next door: we had a very nice ice here, definetely a visit worth.
