A little more attention to detail could really make a difference to this hotel.

•shoddy paint finishing in the bathroom, paint on basin front, around the fanmotor and mirror frame. •drain cover in the shower off, big hole in the floor •basin water does not drain •looking out the window, no view no problem, but the litter and rubbish right outside the window •no bed base sheet (night frill?) •mattress sheet badly fitting, not covering mattress. •poor quality toilet paper •very basic furniture for a 4 star hotel, angle iron and melamine top? •basin tap very basic for 4 star hotel, basin and tap and very dirty • no door for cupboard space (would have looked better). overall impression: arriving it looks very nice and secure. although the gate guard was slow to open the gate and did not ask any questions. we mad booking for one double room for wife and self, but when we arrived they said the booking was for two rooms. staff were not very welcoming or friendly and had a sullen laid back attitude. the lobby looked nice and old style. we liked the room but felt there were small touches which would have finished it off perfectly and could possibly qualify it properly as a four star establishment. the room was clean apart from the basin and adequate.
