Great location

This hotel was in a fabulous location, right off the metro and next to the smithsonian zoo. i was there attending a conference, for which all of the amenities were incredible, and the service was great. the part about my stay that i did not like was the condition of the room. overall it was ok, but for the price of the room, did not seem very high quality. the walls were cracked and paint was chipping. also the maid service was horrible- i would attend the conference at 7am and would return to my room to see if had not been cleaned 9 hours later at 4pm. one day it was not cleaned at all because when the maid arrived i only had a few minutes to change and get back downstairs; instead of moving on and coming back to my room when i left again she just did not clean it at all. overall my stay was great, but there were a few quality issues with the room that made it less than perfect.
