Ali was as expected for a hotel like this . however. there wea a continual extraction fan type noise heard in the room. wasn't noticed till in bed at 11 - to late for a room change. emailed next day re this issue and received no reply maybe they don't care?

Throughout the stay the staff were friendly and helpful. i had booked for bed and breakfast, a full scottish breakfast, which was very tasty. the lounge bar has great views out over the local golf course and out to the forth river. the hotel is closely situated to the centre of north berwick. the only downside was parts of the bedroom needed replaced, however i was advised the rooms will be updated this year. would definitely recommend a stay!

We stayed on a saturday night and asked for an early check in as we travelled from a fair distance and needed to get dressed for the wedding. there was nowhere ready for us so we had to ask another guest if we could change in their room. the reception staff weren't helpful on the phone or at the desk. the room was ready layer on the day and was a basic room looking out over the electricity sub station. the room was small and didn't even have dressing gowns despite it being a spar hotel. breakfast was ok but rushed.
