Excellent location and very friendly and helpful staff. we just love the rooftop garden restaurant. we have stayed here before and have recommended it to family and friends and as a result they have stayed there too.

The marcella royal is in a reasonably good position 10 mins walk from the main rail/bus terminal so ideal for train or shuttle bus from the airports. 10 or 5 euros respectively as opposed to 50 or 55 euros for a taxi dependant on airport. also close to metro or bus stops for quick easy access for all main attractions. staff were very knowledgeble and helpful particularly recomending and organising restaurants. the rooms are well appointed but very small.

This was our first visit to rome, it was made extra special by the hotel and it's staff. nothing was too much to ask and they really do try to make your stay special. unfortunately i lost my camera in a taxi, the reception staff phoned all the taxi companies to try and recover it !!
