From the moment i received an email from the receptionist, christina, confirming my booking, i knew our week's stay would be good. it brimmed over into very good indeed, due to the location, the air conditioning, the luxurious bathroom and the beauty of venice. stay here if you want access to central venice and st mark's. it was surprisingly tranquil, given the bustle of the city. the gondolas sail past the breakfast room with the gondolieri singing as you eat. how good is that!
