The camp has served for many decades as one of the grand African outback experiences. The game drives from the camp generally follow a line between the river and the impressive Yatta Plateau, the second longest river in the world. The wildlife hereis shy but plentiful. As the sun sets behind Mount Kilimanjaro, one returns to camp for dinner and the sounds of the African night. Later one may relax by the camp fire reminiscing a wonderful day.
Located midway berween Nairobi and Mombassa and 25 kilometres into the Tsavo East National Park from Tsavo Inn, the camp is a beautiful oasis set in dramatic scenery along the banks of the Galani River. The hotel is approached via a delightful campgarden and lush plants.
