The lovely gardens at the club area pleasure to behold, as is the attractive swimming pool surrounded by clusters of exotic shrubs. There are numerous morning and evening bird walks accompanied by resident ornithologists, as well as plenty of smallmotorized boats for hire, all captained by knowledgeable bird enthusiasts.
On the shores of Lake Baringo, 285 kms northwest of Nairobi, the hotel nestles among palm trees, green lawns and the clashing red and pink bougainvillea. Hippo and crocdile share this watery residence as well as an enormaoud vareity of birds. There isnever a dull moment at the club.
