The interconti is one of the oldest hotels in the zona hotelera, and has undergone extensive renovation. went there as it is not an "all inclusive" which allows for day trips outside without wasting benefits. the beach at the interconti is more quiet, but not nearly as beautiful as on the east-facing properties in the hotel zone.

This place lived up to my expectations. it was a nice, relaxing vacation. the beach is very calm. don't book this place expecting a party hotel.
