Arrived very early (10.30 am) to a nice bright lobby and lovely reception staff. they agreed to either hold our luggage whilst we enjoyed the facilities or for 30 dollars we could have an upgraded room which was free straight away. we chose the latter. the room was clean and beautiful with great views. the pool area and staff were delightful. the food was expensive but good. alas the sofa bed was urine stained and uncomfortable, house keeping was rather churlish. i felt i couldn't ask for them to turn the bed down so did it myself. 3 in the room with only 2 cups and 2 balcony chairs. not enough coffee and milk. very very noisy room. we could hear every word from family next door and house keeping was very noisy. we didn't sleep well despite the double bed being exceptionally comfortable. beware the extra tax charges and the automatic surcharge for pool towels and lounger use. concierge were great and held our luggage til 5 pm the following day after a 12pm checkout allowing us full use of facilities and wifi. free tram right outside that takes you to lincoln road mall if you cross over to other side of road. not a lot in immediate vacuity. all in all a nice hotel with potential to be excellent.
