Wow or grrr?

Hotel situated in the busy midsummer boulevard area of bars and restaurants but noise was never a problem. to be within walking distance of places to eat and drink was great. the hotel decor is very contemporary - a nice place to be. we got a good price for the stay by searching around on the internet. unfortunately the key card system does not work - or at least ours didn't. on 5 occasions during our 3 day stay the keycard deactivated meaning a trip to reception to get the card reactivated. we were told it was our fault for placing the keycard too close to a mobile phone or car keys - you wouldn't think anyone would be daft enough to carry a mobile phone or car keys with them these days would you! the shower in the room was also a problem - it squealed and spat at you for quite a while before settling down. the shower did not drain properly so a large pool of water remained on the floor all day - not very hygienic. i'm not plumber but i think the drain in a wet room should be at the lowest part of the floor rather than higher up. any hotel should be able to sort out problems like these no matter what price they charge.
