I stay in hotels every week and have been lucky enough to travel throughout the world with my job. this is the second worst hotel i have every stayed in. imagine an inner city tower block that should have been knocked down 30 years ago and you have the swallow in stockton-on-tees. i felt as though the whole place was going to blow up or catch fire at any time and that my room was to be imminently besieged by some of the eastern european guests. you couldn't write a blue print for a terrible hotel and get every single facet so right
