Sehr zu empfehlendes hotel in heraklion (kreta)

Das hotel würde ich bei bedarf zu diesem preis sofort wieder buchen. die angestellten sind durchweg sehr freundlich und es ist zu spüren, dass der gast im zentrum ihres handelns steht! fußläufig ist die altstadt heraklions gut zu erreichen. kurz um: ein sehr zu empfehlendes hotel. einzig die größe des zimmers (bussiness class) ist für zwei personen mit mindestens zwei koffern grenzwertig, aber nur die bewegungsfreiheit betreffend. als ausgangsort, um mit dem auto den osten kretas zu bereisen sehr empfehlenswert.

Small and comfortable hotel

The hotel is located near the center of the city of heraklion. it's about 15-20 minute walk from the port \ strip \ all the tourist stuff. there is also a great pizza place right across the street where we ate quite a bit! the hotel itself is very clear and tidy, offers all the services you would expect from a 5-star hotel and more. staff is helpful. the rooms are quite big, but the balconies are small. pool is also a bit small in size and not too deep. overall, it's a lovely small hotel in a good location.

Excellent hotel

We loved this stylish hotel. the staff were extremely helpful and happy to go the extra mile - for example, my wife's kindle had a flat battery and the staff managed to find a suitable cable, which they were happy to loan to us. cocktails were excellent, though not cheap outside happy hour (there's a good bar next door for the rest of the time). we enjoyed the poolside which is stylish and clean, like the rest of the hotel. the galaxy is about 10 minutes walk from the town centre, though those with mobility or sight issues would find the pavement of demokratias avenue a challenge - it seems to have been half rebuilt and abandoned full of holes and raised iron works. no fault of the hotel of course, but it's something to be aware of.
