This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel during a winter ski holiday and i will look forward to returning again and again in the future. well maintained, with courteous helpful and accomodating staff, i would thoroughly recommend it. good value too and centrally located (though a respectable distance from the potentially rowdier areas )with easy access to transport facilities.

Located slightly closer to interlaken ost, but within 10 mins walking distance of either. very pleasant hotel, with staff who all seem to speak english if required, and have a smattering of french. there was ample choice for all tastes at breakfast which is served in a delightful room with views of the mountains. we were there in january, apparently there were only a few guests, so we were upgraded to a south facing room on arrival at no extra cost. we ate one evening in the hotel restaurant, the food was excellent, although not cheap, mainly fish dishes only one vegetarian menu. by tain, or bus it's very easy to reach the local attractions. we were told a trip by cable car to the revolving restaurant would take about two and a half hours and be around 200chf. we chose a shorter trip (being only sightseers not skiers) there are plenty to choose from.

The hotel staff were all very pleasant and polite. the room was a little small, but nicely decorated. for the price i paid, i was rather surprised the room came with a flat-screen tv. the breakfast area was spacious and well-furnished, and as i was eating, i could enjoy the great view of cows grazing on the field, and the jungfrau in the background.
