Good value in chelsea

Jury's inn are usually good value, modern hotels. jury's in chelsea did not disappoint. excellent location with good iews from the upper floors. but not realy suitable for trourists visiting central london because it is a little way out and not near an underground station - but well served by bue and the london overground. rooms not luxurious but clean adequate and excellent value for money. pillows a little uncomfortable, but you can't have everything. we had breakfast in the hotel and it exceeded expectations - very tasty good-quality food and drinks. bar prices reasonable for a london hotel.

Great but avoid the restaurant !

Room pleasant and clean, good size and all in working order. friendly & helpful staff. well located for design business but far from everything else. only bad point is the catering side - avoid eating there!

Not at all close to anything!

I chose this hotel because it described itself as being 'located near the fashionable kings road... close to some of london's most popular visitor attractions including kensington palace, the natural history museum, victoria and albert museum and the royal concert hall'. in fact the nearest undergroud station is fulham broadway, from where it cost £3.40 in a taxi. next nearest is earls court, from which it cost £7 in a taxi. the hotel's in the middle of a building site and, if you don't know london and the area, you wouldn't want to walk back to it, hence the taxis. there is a bus to earls court (c3) which costs £2 each way, though you can use a travelcard on it but you can't buy your travelcard on the bus. so, if you go to jury's in chelsea be prepared either for long walks or for spending lots of money on transport to and from it.
