Excellent staff. bell men and concierge bent over backwards to help us get to where we needed. hotel is eloquent with refined age, not like the chain shoe boxes. pool was wonderful and made us feel separate from the hustle and bustle of tourists below. pool side bar tender was amazing wish great cocktails. drawbacks included a $40 'early check-in" when we arrived at noon when the hotel was clearly only at 40% occupancy. we waited till 3:00 for our room to be "ready". no turn down service. room was not cleaned until usually 3pm daily. rooms otherwise we're very spacious and much larger than what we expected. overall, 4 star quality with a few bugs.
