This spot is unlike anywhere i've ever stayed. it's so incredibly unique and completely worth the trip from wherever you are in morocco. it is the auberge famille ben moro so its decor & services vary slightly from the neighbouring kasbah (hotel) ben moro. but for the average traveller and/or backpacker, this is spot is great. it's surrounded by a palmerie oasis with the snow-capped mountains in the distance. completely picturesque and tranquil. it is run by very friendly staff who are respectful of guests and their different wants or needs while staying there. i let them know i was simply here to relax at the end of my trip and they were extremely appreciative of that. while sitting by the pool writing post cards i was invited to join a staff member and friend for tea. strong wi-fi only in the front area. can sit in the reception area to use. restaurant : they do have a restaurant and a terrace sitting area where the petit dejune/breakfast is served. for afternoon/evening meals in the restaurant, due to the limited number of guests, they basically offer a plat du jour, not a full menu. but it's a wonderful, home-cooked traditional moroccan meal. i'm absolutely certain that if you let them know early in the day of any dietary restrictions or preferences that they prepare accordingly. they offered to bring my mean to my room which completely warmed both me & my room on a cold winter night! it was a gorgeous beef tanjine, vegetable soup, and oranges. i devoured it! 100 dirhams. as many others have stated, for a place to just get away and relax in serenity, i could have stayed longer & i honestly didn't want to leave. it was the perfect way to end my trip to morocco and i would definitely go back again. getting there: from ouarzazate get to the gare routière within the city where all the taxis congregate. you will find "taxi traditionel" taking groups of people to different destinations. ask for a taxi to skoura. will cost 15 dirhams. tell them kasbah ben moro is just 2km before (avant) skoura. the kasbah has signs and will be on the left side of the road.
