Not my alma mater
Although we booked and paid over two months in advance, we arrived after a 16 hour drive and were told they were overbooked and didn't have our room for us. after insisting on speaking to a manager, the front desk called her at home and we were given a room and complimentary continental breakfasts during our stay. we knew parking was an extra charge but did not realize it was a city block distant. not easy on 2 senior citizens. at least it was quiet. not having hot water for showers on a morning when we had doctors appointments was not nice, no compensation offered either. the staff we dealt with face to face were wonderful but the operation of the hotel was rather amateurish. we will not willingly stay there again.
