The berchielli well deserves its outstanding reputation. its understated elegance makes for a really delightful stay in this wonderful city. our room was very comfortable; the hotel staff were charming and a lovely breakfast was provided. the berchielli is a beautiful hotel and is perfectly located in the heart of florence - it is very close to the ponte vecchio and the uffizi gallery and not far from the main railway station.

What a find! this was exceptional not only the services but what a great location for exploring. the staff helped us with tours,restaurants. taxis right outside. we felt so comfortable in our surroundings. thank you for making our stay wonderful.

This was the second year we stayed at the berchielli between christmas and new year. as before we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. the hotel is very pleasant,comfortable and clean with generally good service. the location is fantastic, perfect for seeing all of florence's sidgts. a great stay.

Stayed 3 nights on a trip around italy. hotel is in a great location, right around the museums and major sights, on the banks of the arno, a short walk from the ponte vecchio. rooms are quite small and furniture and bathrooms in serious need of an update. also, bathroom not as clean as should be. our room had a view of a wall, so quite dark, but didn't stay in the room that much. hotel has few facilities and the american bar is really only a few benches in the lobby. breakfast is quite extensive. overall, not a four star hotel but relatively good value.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. they advised on restaurants, places to visit, internet cafes. we upgraded our room from standard to delux, we had a wonderful view, quiet room, vey comfortable. the only downside was the lack of tea making facilities!! we bought a kettle and tea. there was a fridge in the room so milk was fine to keep! the hotel was excellent in location, service and comfort. we would thoroughly recommend it.
