Overall i had a pleasant stay at the thompson, the location was great and the beach was literally a hop, skip, jump away. at night the hotel had a nice chic ambiance. hotel was in walking distance to club liv. if your young and looking for more excitement i would recommend staying closer to south beach, especially if your looking to walk right outside to bars, clubs, and restaurants. drinks at the bar were reasonably priced. word to the wise check your credit card after your stay to make sure you don't get charged for extra things.
