This is a very convenient hotel to visit the beautiful city of Gerona and also the surrounding towns and villages. Visitors from scotland
The ultonia is in an excellant location for visiting the old town, five minutes walk across the river via one of the many bridges. it's also a maximum ten minute walk to the bus and train station which are right next to each other and are well signposted. the only drawback was that it is situated on a very busy road and traffic noise could be a problem. didn't bother us though. plenty of bars and restaurants virtually on the doorstep. mini bar in room very reasonably priced.
