Lobby
The hotel's magnificent lounge is a striking and ornate black marble fireplace and overmantle. Afternoon tea can be taken by the roaring log fire. The lounge is filled with deep sofas and armchairs, with bright flower arrangements contrasting with the marvellous old oak panelling. The lobby is small.
Exterior
The main house was built in the Jacobean style of 1869.
Rooms
Rooms are furbished to a beautiful standard with wonderful views across the Park. Some are decorated in a period style others are more modern. The bathrooms also have large mirrors, marble floors and brass fittings. The rooms are large.
Restaurant
The restaurant serves the finest English and French cuisine. It is very bright and spacious with fine views over the formal Italian garden to the grounds that were once William Shakespeares.
