We were suprised to discover that the hotel had opened up a few doors down from the premises shown on their website. it's all brand new but the lifts weren't working, we couldn't take calls in our room because the switchboard didn't work. and the room was tiny with a wet room ie shower right next to the toilet.

You can't expect a clean room or bathroom in this hotel. the facility is very limited, and no out-going phone calls can be made from the room unless you ask the reception to open a line paying a deposit. deposit was also needed for room keys and hairdryers which was very inconvenient. the reception staff told us that leaving a depost is very common in england, but i know it's not common. staffs were not well trained. no lift in the building.
