Hotel sole

The hotel is a good choice for venice travelers thanks to its friendly service and its location next the train station san trovaso.

We came very late & went away very early. this is the 2 time to sleep here. the plain we had early,before 7.15h. we were without breakfast-we paid it.maybe it should be fine to ask people if they want breakfast earlier!!!!!!!!!

Rugby weekend

The hotel was just what we wanted. we weren't in it much, but the room was adequate. we were on the ground floor, with a patio and b-b-q area outside the door, so i guess it could be noisy if they use this in the summer. the bus stops and train station to treviso and venice were both within a couple of hundred metres, and public transport is very cheap. however, the taxi from treviso station to the hotel cost 12 euro. there is a very pleasant pizzaria about a 7 minute walk away.

Rugby special

The hotel is in a pleasant suburban location about 4kms from treviso railway station not the 2.5km as shown on hotel details.. the rooms are clean and well presented if a little small, however it is a three star hotel and is better than many i have stayed at including the large chains. breakfast was acceptable but not special, small improvements would make a big difference, for example the coffee and hot water containers had no means of keeping the drinks hot. information about the local bus and train services was poor, a multi lingual information pack with local restaurants, and bars and travel details would have been welcome. the tv in the bedroom was of a good standard; however in most comparable hotels i have used there has been an english or american news station available. summary it is a good hotel with friendly staff, attention to the above points would help visitors.

Sole stay

Other than one noisy night of drinking neighbors our accomodation and stay at sole was good. it is located in a quiet area with few amenities in the evening.

Hotel sole, treviso

Excellent value for money. stayed in a quad room which had air-conditioning : a must in july. staff were friendly and helpful with directions for buses, and calling taxis. just one member of staff was difficult at breakfast time when asking for food to be brought when items had run out. otherwise, every one else was fine.

Fantastic find

My husband and i are regular travellers to croatia via treviso. after a disasterous journey last year, when we missed our flight, due to a long delay by trenitalia, we decided this time to book a stopover at a treviso hotel and avoid any future problems. what a find the hotel sole was, we enjoyed our stay there immensely and will use it on both our outward and inward journeys in the future. we were made to feel so welcome and alessandra the young receptionist, was extremely helpful with information on travelling around. we would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Value for money

A great little family run hotel. not actually in treviso. from treviso airport catch bus no.6 to the train station. then catch the no.11 and ask the driver to stop when he gets to the area. it'll be on the right hand side of the road about 2 minutes walking. bus tickets are 1 euro, valid for 75minutes of travelling and available at information desk in the airport. this is a great peaceful option if you want to do venice on a budget. the bus route into venice costs 5 euros return and takes about 40 minutes.
