Hidden gem

From the minute we arrived to the minute we checked out the staff made our stay very memorable, we were very impressed with the cleanliness of the whole hotel , our room was excellent and the breakfast was excellent to , we will definately be recommending this hotel to friends and family and we will be staying again ourselves . it is in the walking distance of everything but on a quiet little street. the staff are very friendly and nothing is to much trouble , this hotel is definately one to visit

A great few days in london

Have stayed in the royal trafalgar before a superb centrally located hotel for theatreland and the sights. our deluxe room was smallish and had a shower rather than a bath but we got around that as it was only a short break. the refurished rooms are compact and lack a lot of storage space for clothes but you dont need much for three nights anyway. staff very helpful and friendly. free safe deposit in room and fridge for your cold drinks is provided, thats a plus.

My hotel review.

Very well located in the westend of london. very clean and tidy. food was very good in all areas. staff were polite and helpful at all times. rooms were a little small, but up-grades were available. value for money, via this web site.

Location, location, location

The combination of clean, bright and well presented rooms, helpful staff and a great central location, 5 minutes from charring cross station, you can walk into the national gallery in less than a minute in one direction and leicester square in the other, whilst being surrounded by theatres in every direction. all at a good price. (with so many pubs in the area there is no need to pay hotel bar prices for drinks which is exoensive)

Good location

We had booked a twin room and on arrival we were told one was not available as the hotel was fully booked due to the gay pride day. we were offered an alternative at an hotel in marble arch! when i said i had specifically booked the hotel in order to be able to walk to the theatre the next day they understood and offered us their last room, a junior suite. this turned out to be a disabled room with a superking bed!! the staff were all very pleasant and quite frankly we could not be bothered to complain for one night but would not pay these prices again unless the room i booked was guaranteed.

one night in london

We had a lovely time stopping just one night in london.as usual london didn't let us down.having  stopped at this hotel before we knew the location was perfect.a little dissappointed with the hotel this time though.didn't feel very friendly.recommendation would be for the location. although spotlessly clean would not stop there again.

Overnight stay

I was really looking forward to my overnight stay here with my partner as the pictures looked great. i was extremely disappointed, and embarassed at the reception in front of my partner, when the recptionist told me it was a smoking room! prior to this, she had asked if i wanted to upgrade to a suite for a special price of £40. as i was on a budget, i declined, then she told me it was a smoking room. i said i was not happy as there was nowhere obvious on the booking form to request non-smoking, but she didn't appear bothered. when we got into the room it stank of smoke and therefore my partner went back to reception and ended up paying himself for the upgrade as i'm asthmatic and couldn't tolerate the smell. ironically, i was in london attending an international respiratory conference!!!!
