This hotel is reputed to be one of the best townhouse hotels in the capital and offers an excellent standard of accommodation and service. Many of the original period features have been kept and mixed with modern/contemporary touches. Complimentary welcome drink, newspaper and glass of champagne... Comfortable hotel in a good location.
We wanted a hotel close to paddington, but in a smarter location with good tube and bus links to the west end. this hotel proved to be exactly that (tube at lancaster gate). staff were very friendly and our stay was comfortable and relaxing. a few problems. no tea & coffee making facilities in the room. although we weren't disturbed too much, the plumbing and floor above were quite noisy at times. complementary champagne was very welcome, but never offered, we had to ask each night.
