The hotel was built in 1962 and refurbished in 1995. It consists of a total of 133 rooms on 2 floors of which 18 are singles, 103 are doubles and 12 are suites. Guests are offered a large pool and garden area, a stylish lobby, and a reception, which is open 24-hours a day. In addition there is a TV room, a café, a cosy bar and an air-conditioned, non-smoking restaurant. There is also an Internet terminal, a laundry service, car parking facilities and a children's play area.
The hotel is located in Punta Prima, on the east coast of Menorca, 50 m from the sandy beach with all the facilities. The resort is situated just 9 km from the island's capital, Mahón, and the airport. A regular bus service to and from Mahón is available. The promenade and bay are lined with beach bars, restaurants, two supermarkets, farmacy, rent a car and shops. A train also goes to and from the neighbouring resort of Binibeca.
