The hotel opened its doors for the first time in 1967 in the Retiro district, one of the most vibrant and distinctive areas of the capital. Its carefully designed interior, decorated with a hint of the American and Classical British styles, creates an individual and highly sophisticated ambience.The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the renowned Parque del Retiro, from where the most prominent tourist and artistic areas of the capital can easily be reached: the Prado, Reina Sofia and Thyssen Bornemisza Museums, the Madrid of the Austrias, Puerta de Alcala, Plaza Cibeles, etc.
The hotel can be found in the commercial centre of Conde de Casal square, five minutes from the city centre, close to El Prado, Reina Sofia and Thyssen museums, the main railway station Atocha-AVE and the bus station. There is direct access from the nthe highway M-30 and easy connection to Barajas airport and the main exhibition centre Juan Carlos I. n

The facade has been recently renovated. It is a magnificent red brick building with balconies and windows overlooking the Conde de Casal Square. n

The rooms are standard size and tastefully decorated. The rooms have a refined atmosphere, as well as modern facilities. The bathrooms are decorated in marble and have hairdryers. n
