We were disapointd that our reuest for a non smoking and a pool view room had not been passed on to the hotel by the booking agent. we did get moved to a non smoking room but a downgraded one for the first night. the follwong day our room move was carried out by hotel staff to a upgraded room, but not overlooking the pool.
the rooms are small but adequate. staff very pleasant and efficient. good location for bars, restaurants and nightlife.
the brakfast area is congested and needs more thought in the layout. plates are hidden away under counters and guests have to be moved out of the way if they are witing for cooed food.

From the moment we arrived it was obvious that the staff cared and wanted to make you stay memorable.
the rooms although small are very clean and well maintained.
the view from the room to the singapore river and commercail quarter was impressive.
breakfast had plenty of choice and a chef on hand to prepare omellets and eggs.
bread and cooked meats a bit limited in choice.
