From the minute we arrived at main doors of hotel the reception, staff and being received was a very professional experience. restaurant ordering was no trouble, wide choice with menu, staff vet friendly. very comfortable, relaxing, clean room & room service was not too much trouble. would recommend this hotel to anyone & certainly stay again.

Could not fault this hotel. the rooms are spaceoius, mood lighting is funky and the bed is massive. the breakfast was one of the best buffet breakfast we have ever had, the choice of food was unbelievable.

Thanks to hotelsclick my wife and i and another couple stayed in a top notch hotel with breakfast for the same price i would expect to pay for a travelodge at room only rate. for this money we had access to the spa which we unfortunately did not have time to take advantage of. breakfast was buffet style but you could arrange for food such as poached eggs to be cooked to order. service was friendly and efficient and being able to look out on the usher hall and edinburgh castle as you had breakfast made it allseem very civilised. we did not eat at the hotel in the evening as we had other things planned but the menu looked fairly good.

Staff very freindly and helpfull. good location. room very poor. bathroom old dirty and shower and sink broken. rooms themself good size and had once been nice but know chiped furtiture scufed walls and out of date equipment eg tv. brakfast fine but if you expect waiter service you won't get it all served at the buffy. we were very disapointed in our room as we were lead to beleive we were staying in a 5* hotel.
