The eden hotel is well situated for all the amsterdam attractions. our room was on the second floor and was clean and warm, albeit the room was small. the bathroom with bath and shower was good with plenty of hot water for a good shower. we took the hotel breakfast each day and that was an excellent buffet with both hot and cold food. if in amsterdam we would stay here again

Booked a standard double room for 4 nights.
there was not enough room to swing a cat. could not walk round the bed without bending down to avoid hitting the tv on the wall above the bottom of the bed.
decoration and furniture in room poor and could do with being refurbished.
would not return or recommend

Great hotel in an excellent location. we walked to this hotel from central station. breakfast was included with our stay and although stated as a cold buffet, there was an option of scrambled egg, bacon and sausage. with plenty other options also, very nice. the room was fine and clean but was basic as we booked just a standard room, if you booked a superior room this would have a canal view and tea/coffee making facalities, but had a hair dryer and the bed was lovely and comfortable. the concierge was welcoming and informative. we arrived early but could not check in early as our room wasn't ready, check out is at 12pm after all. our cases were however able to be left in a secure luggage room. i would definitely recommend this hotel, excellent value

The hotel was very good ie reception front of house staff and the staff that attended the breakfast cannot comment on the rooms as we were upgraded to an apartment that was excellent
