Lovely stay

I stayed on the calvalieri art hotel in august of this year. the hotel was lovely. rooms were really nice and clean and we got fresh towels everyday. we had a lovely view of the sea from our balcony. the pool area was lovely and there was access to the sea which was great. the food in the hotel was like very. we had lunch there almost everyday.

Wouldn't go back

Was not happy with my stay because of
1- wifi issues (i was on a business trip)
2- the quality of the breakfast (very poor selection)
3- the quality of room i stayed was well below a 4 star hotel
4- didn't get what i paid for

Never again!

Whilst there, the temperature was +32. the room boasting a marina view was in fact a building site view with a marina over 150metres away. the door to the fridge was broken. they took the parasols away mid day in the searing heat as one had blown into the pool. the base of the parasols was too big for the pole. had they provided the correct base for the parasols, there would not have been a problem. the pool area was filthy as they wash around the sun beds without moving them. the pool area surface was worn out. the safety gate to prevent children wandering to the edge by the sea was broken and missing although the warning sign was intact. there was no air conditioning in the restaurant/breakfast area that was too crowded, not enough tables being cleaned by the disorganised staff and food trays running out. 4 star??? i think not. as the heading says, 'never again'.

Great location

Hotel was in a great location, overlooking the sea and next to the harbour. few little things that could have been improved, our room was overlooking construction work which started at 7am every morning. didn't affect us too much but not the best view!
i was staying with a friend who is coeliac and can't eat gluten, the hotel breakfast didn't really cater to this, although it could have done easily. they used the same pan and spatulas for omelettes which she could have eaten as they did for pancakes and the bacon was laid on top of bread.
the hotel has free wifi which is good buy the signal strength was poor in peak times and nearly non exist an by the pool.
these could all be easily improved so it was a shame but didn't ruin the stay.

Excellent value

Just spent a week at this hotel and found it excellent in every way. room was well furnished with plenty of wardrobe and drawers for clothes. bathroom was cleaned and fresh linen was provided every day. tea/coffee making facility, safe, hairdryer all in room. breakfast was very plentiful and nothing a bother for staff. my husband requested porridge and it came made with milk. different teas and coffees, only thing was the size of the cups. helpful to bring your own mug! loads of alcoves with leather couches to relax in and art work to admire. all staff were very helpful and pleasant. facilities were excellent. staying here in february meant cold and wet outside, but inside hotel was very warm. it's worth the extra for a balcony view, as it gets the sun.
although we were on b&b basis, we did eat an evening meal in it and found very good value for money, again plenty variety of food.
it's location is also very convenient. a vast choice of restaurants close by, bus service excellent. courtesy buses from hotel itself if on booked excursions. would greatly recommend this hotel. excellent value for money.

Just back from holidays in malta. had a lovely time in cavalieri hotel with an amazing view from the balcony.
nice food, live music in the restorant.
close to all the shops and night clubs.
clean rooms, gorgeous swimming pool.
would recommend to anyone 100%
