This is an good hotel because of its location and condition. The hotel also has an adjoining pub called Scruffy's which is traditionally Irish and has live music on certain nights. Not an american 4 star hotel
This hotel has great location. however, that is about the only positive thing i can say. the rooms are very tiny for american standards. we have stayed in other hotels where the bathroom is larger than the entire room. the jacuzzi tub is also very small and built into the space of a traditional hotel tub, so you can imagine its narrowness. the "king" sized beds are actually two twin beds pushed together with a mattress paste over the top. this is very uncomfortable as you can feel the ridge between the two when you lay down. room service only goes until 9:30 so for late arrivals there is no place to eat as the attached restaurants also stop serving around then. the irish breakfast was okay. nothing great nothing terrible. i would equate the hotel in size to a budget hotel and in decor to a moderate hotel. absolutely not a quality i would expect from a 4 star hotel.
