The lobby is well decorated with pale yellow curtains and beige coloured settees with various carpets placed everywhere. There is also an original fire place.
Marvelous Venice can be reached in 25 minutes by car or, even more conveniently, in 20 minutes by train (Santa Lucia station is right in the center of the city). From here you can walk through narrow streets and small squares, or take the vaporetto that goes through the Grand Canal up to the most famous sites: Rialto Bridge and Saint Mark's. Here the scenery is truly extraordinary, the Square is a gigantic drawing room punctuated by beautiful buildings: The Basilica with its Byzantine cupolas, the Ducal Palace, of delightful gothic architecture, and the colonnade of the Procuratie portico where you will find the Correr Museo Civico, the venue for important temporary exhibits, and Biblioteca Marciana, which houses very old manuscripts and the very first printed books. Treviso, a fascinating medieval town with 16th-century wall fortification, is only a half hour drive away. A city on the water at the confluence of two rivers, mentioned by Dante in the famous verse from the Divine Comedy “...where the Sile and the Cagnan rivers meet...” and where the Dante bridge now straddles one of its most suggestive points. The historic heart can be found in Piazza dei Signori, to which the Palazzo della Signoria gives. Also worth visiting, the nearby Loggia dei Cavalieri, Casa dei Carraresi, the location of prestigious art exhibitions, the medieval San Francesco and San Nicolò churches and Pescheria with its charming houses on the water. The ruins of Altino, a bustling Roman commercial center dating back to the 1st century, one of the most important in the Northern Adriatic, are still visible today in the important archeological site less than 10 minutes from Hotel Villa Odino. It is part of the National Archaeological Museum where important everyday life objects and funeral apparel from the period are kept.
The refined elegance of this country residence is evident in Hotel Villa Odino´s 30 rooms and suites found in the main part of the villa as well as in the new section. Parquet flooring, style furniture, rich fabrics and modern amenities, help create a romantic atmosphere that distinguishes Villa Odino as one of the better 4-star hotels to be found between Venice and Treviso. Guests can choose between standard, superior or deluxe rooms, or junior and regular suites, some suitable for the disabled and for non-smokers. Picturesque and charming, 2 minutes from the hotel at Casale sul Sile, the San Nicolò is Villa Odino's restaurant. Local Veneto dishes as well as many other Italian ones with an international touch are served in characteristic and elegant rooms. Their fish specialty served either raw or grilled, in risotto or spaghetti, with selected wines from the excellent cellar, has contributed to San Nicolò's reputation as one of the best restaurants in the area. The red radicchio of Treviso and the asparagus from the Grave del Piave are refined vegetables and main ingredients (when in season) of other delicacies. Pick up service to and from Villa Odino.
