Bello

Hotel molto bello, non molto distante facile da raggiungere, gli unici due peccati sono che 1_ l'aria condizionata non funziona bene, ma fortunatamente ci hanno aperto la finestra 2_ con tutto quel caldo di luglio c'erano comunque i piumoni

Good value for price

Good room, fair food ( we choosed hb), simpathy from staff. the main problem was paid internet access (except if we use two computers, with german operating system, located in reception... not frequently available...)

Bella camera ma wifi a pagamento

Camera molto bella e grande pulita e ordinata ma davvero troppo calda. grande pecca il wifi a pagamento a € 5 al giorno. un po distanze dal centro ma raggiungibile in 15 minuti di tram

Kein 4-sterne-niveau

Das hotel ist in einem ehemaligen ddr-plattenbau untergebracht. es macht einen stark renovierungsbedürftigen eindruck. wände und teppich waren sehr schmutzig. das bild des alten röhrenfernsehers flackerte. die reception in dem weitläufigen gebäude war sehr schlecht ausgeschildert und musste gesucht werden. personal freundlich. das frühstücksbuffet war von der qualität her gut, allerdings waren die plätze in dem viel zu kleinen raum für das große hotel deutlich zu knapp bemessen. zu den stoßzeiten (7.00 - 9.00 uhr) müssen wartezeiten in kauf genommen werden.

Wyndham garden mitte instead ...

Hard to say anything about grand city hotel as it appeared that due to system issue there was no room for me and my family in gch. i was offered stay in wyndham garden berlin mitte. the issue was handled well and in a friendly and supportive manner. the offered room was upgraded in standard comparing with my booking.

It was a good hotel for this price, big room, comfortable beds, but what i disliked was a smell of sewerage system into the bathroom, maybe it was just into room i don't know. this smell even didn't stopped during our staying, so we kept the door to the bathroom closed and visiting bathroom was unpleasant. the next which i disliked was tv-set. i think that nowadays not to hard to add channels in english, but i found just channels in german, therefore i didn't use tv-set in general. i liked that it was possible to leave our luggage in a special room after checking out and it was for free. personal who worked at reception was very polite.

Causa overbooking, trasferiti al best western (soddisfacente)

Molto soddisfatti del best western, vicino al grand city hotel berlin mitte, però il trasferimento (in taxi, a carico dell'hotel) ci è costata un'oretta che, nell'arco di un soggiorno di sole 36 ore ha avuto comunque la sua scomodità.

Buon hotel non centralissimo ma bene collegato

L'hotel si trova a berlino est, non è in una zona proprio centralissima ma con il tram si raggiunge il centro di berlino in 15 minuti circa. l'albergo è risultato molto pulito, la stanza molto grande un po semplice forse spartane. la colazione è nella media, è presente un pub ristorante nella struttura aperto durante la sera. la reception è cortese , tuttavia l'albergo sembra essere preso di mira da orde di viaggi organizzati , quindi a volte ci sarà da fare la fila per avere un informazione. e'presente un tv con alcuni programmi paytv, mancano in zona servizi come bar, supermercati e ristoranti dovete camminare un minimo per raggiungerli. tuttavia con il tram davanti all'hotel è facile arrivare veramente ovunque. consigliato a chi vuole un buon albergo rapporto/qualità prezzo.

Week-end berlino

Abbiamo trascorso solo una notte presso questo hotel ma abbiamo deciso di tenerlo in considerazione per un eventuale prossimo viaggio a berlino. il personale è cortese ed estremamente disponibile. l'hotel è discretamente collegato con le principali attrazioni e presenta un buon rapporto qualità-prezzo.

Satisfactory

As an average im very satisfied with my stay. the room was clean, the service and especially the breakfast was very good. the only missing point for a 4 star hotel can be the bath room utilities. there was one dispenser used both as a shampoo and soap placed outside of the tub. this shampoo can be placed in the tub and seperate normal soap can be supplied at the basin. but again, im satisfied at staying at the hotel.
