Discover Gibraltar

The town of Gibraltar is situated in the British overseas territory of the same name, located at the border with Spain.
Gibraltar is built around Main Street, and has some interesting tourist attractions such as the Cathedral of St. Mary the Crowned and the Chapel of the King, which now is the residence of the Governor of this micro-state. At the Trafalgar Cemetery it is possible to visit the graves of British sailors that perished during the famous Battle of Trafalgar in 1805, between the British and the Franco-Spanish Navy.

Interesting are the Alameda Botanical Gardens, through which you can get to Nelson's Anchorage, where you can admire one of the biggest guns of Gibraltar, which dates back to Victorian times.
One of the symbols of Gibraltar is also the famous Rocca, the rocky point which the ancients believed to be one of the Pillars of Hercules, placed there to mark the boundaries of the world.
