Though it was a sacred hill from the Roman Temples period to the Abbey of Montmartre and the political tone of Henri the IV, Montmartre preserved its cultural and artistic identity by offering a home to the greatest painting movements of the XIX and XX centuries (Impressionnism, Cubism, Fauvism, Futurism, Surrealism). The many museums and galleries on the Hill are reminders of this past and nowadays, many painters are still gathering on the famous Place du Tertre. Near by place du Tertre, take a few minute walk to see the only Parisian wineyard.
Les Jardins de Montmartre is conveniently located near the famous Place du Tertre and the Basilique du Sacré Coeur, in a lively and animated street of the Montmartre district, full of bars and restaurants. The hotel is directly connected to the railway station Gare du Nord and buses, which stop in front of the hotel and takes you to the Champs Elysées and the Père-Lachaise cemetery.

Completely renovated in 2006, the hotel provides an elegant building with a unique style and essential mix of architectural styles, influenced by the Parisian tradition.

Les Jardins de Montmartre has 38 rooms (single, double, with two single beds) some with king size bed completely renovated in 2006. All rooms have private bath, some with shower and some with bath. All rooms are equipped with desk, wi-fi internet, hair dryer, radio, direct dial telephone, satellite TV. Some rooms have air conditioning. Are available upon request non-smoking rooms.

A little gem!

Away from the tourist traps of central paris this hotel is excellent. there are great tansport links to everything you will want to see. the local restaurants are pleasant and used mostly by locals. if you are using the eurostar the 31 bus goes direct from the station to the hotel, the bus stop is right outside the hotel. the hotel is being refitted and the new rooms are wondeful.
