Another comfortable stay

My wife and i have stayed at this hotel over many years and have always felt 'at home'. all staff are courteous and go out of their way to be helpful no matter what problem we have. we choose this hotel on our london visits from the south coast as it is central for our needs, comfortable to stay at and has its own basement car park which is particularly useful as we always drive up.

Excellent 4th stay

This is our 4th visit to this hotel twice when it was city inn and twice as a doubletree hilton. we like it very much. we have never had any problem with the room, the food or the staff. we find the location perfect, lovely and quiet but almost right on the thames with the houses of parliment, london eye and river cruise boats only 10/15 mins walk away. we frequently walk in to the theatre area and this only takes 40 mins or walk along the south bank as far as bankside which take about the same. beautiful when the sun is out. would recomend this hotel to anyone.

Excellent value deal

Stayed at this hotel a number of times before so knew what to expect. a really good central choice. hotelsclick rates were almost £75/night cheaper than any other reputable agent (or with the hotel direct) so it proved to be the perfect deal.

Diamond jubilee weekend stay

We were very impressed by the doubletree hotel and its staff, which far exceeded our expectations. we have stayed at many hilton hotels worldwide, and this was one of the best we have experienced.

House of commons weekend

A lovely hotel, modern, friendly and relaxing. impressed with the i mac facility and bath robes as standard. used the milbank lounge each night for a nightcap and the breakfast having paid the extra was top notch.

Short break in london

I really like this hotel. it is not too far away from the sights of westminster and beyond but is quiet enough to get a good nights sleep. the restaurant and bar are lovely and the rooms are a really good size. i will definitely stay here again.

Another great stay!

This was our second visit to this hotel. a change of name has made it even more comfortable and friendly - the quality of the toileteries was particularly appreciated by the ladies in our party! staff are very helpful, breakfast scrumptious, and beds extremely comfy.

Short break in the capital

Had a lovely weekend, hotel excellent, everywhere clean, staff very helpful and friendly, continental breakfast was excellent and the service in the restaurant was quick and efficient especially as it is a very busy time for the staff. it was nice to come back late and be able to have a drink in the bar. we would definately use this hotel again and recommend it to family and friends.

London break

The hotel was very good value, free access to a pc in each room and free wi-fi. the continental breakfast was included in the price and was also very good. we enjoyed our stay, its in a nice quiet area and we were able to chill out. we would definitely recommend it, provided you don't mind walking the 15 mins to westminster.the hotel compares very well with those we have stayed in before in london

Christmas in london at mint hotel

Modern, smart hotel in quiet location within easy walking distance to tube, attractions, pubs, etc; bus stops a couple of minutes away. staff on the desk were extremely polite and helpful - we were made to feel welcome. the room was a good size and well-equipped: (computer, internet, tv, dvd, etc; tea and coffe facilities; ironing board and iron. bathroom was a little small though nicely done with plenty of towels and bathrobes.everything was spotlessly clean and tidy. breakfast (continental) was excellent with a good choice of foodstuffs and good coffee. linen napkins gave it a classy feel. again, service was very good from the helpful staff. all in all we enjoyed our stay at the mint and will definately stay here again.

Pre christmas break for me and my daughter

I was so impressed with this hotel and now understand why it has such rave reviews. for a cental london hotel the price is very reasonable and we had a twin room, which for london standards, was a very good size. the position is ideal - just a few minutes from the river and the houses of parliament. we walked to buckingham palace, the embankment, covent garden and oxford street and it was so good to be able to avoid public transport. the staff were delightful throughout the hotel and i really couldn't recommend the hotel enough. the room was immaculate and spacious and all the little touches - pc with internet access, tea tray, bath robes, nice bath products were all included. the continental breakfast was excellent too with miniature pastries, smoked salmon bagels and lots of fresh fruit.

Excellent hotel

Stay at the city inn westminster for 2 nights in october. excellent hotel in a good location. situated on a quiet street so no noise, but still only about 5-10 mins walk from both pimlico underground and westminster. room was large and very clean, bathroom was a little small but ok for a few nights. contential breakfast was excellent great range with the option to upgrade to a full english. very busy on the sunday morning so the waiter service for tea and coffee left a little to be desired. had a meal in the restaurant, food was very good and reasonably priced.

The best in my opinion

Whether i'm traveling to london for business or pleasure i stay in this hotel every time. it's a modern clean hotel, great value for money, and the buzz of the city is only a short walk away - this has the added benefit of it being quiet at night!

London october 2009

Our stay at the city inn westminster was fantastic and couldn't be faulted. check-in was a breeze we arrived early and still managed to get into our room straight away. the room was clean, spacious, modern and very well equipped. we found the internet in our room extremely useful whilst we were visiting london and it was easy to use. the breakfast and restaurant we great when we booked we were told that it would be a continental breakfast (quite ample) but we also had the option of a full english breakfast for now extra cost (my boyfriend was very pleased!) the hotel location was very very accessible we were 10 minutes from westminster tube station, the houses of parliament, big ben and westminster abbey and 20 minutes from the london eye. if you are going on a sight seeing city break then the location is great!!! i would visit this hotel again and would highly recommend it to anyone!

Great hotel

Hotel was relatively easy to find and had limited parking. however the hotel itself was very modern, clean and extremely well located. the rooms were clean and modern and the bed was very comfortable. apart from a slight queue for breakfast it was well worth the wait and very quick service. would definitely use this hotel again.
