The double queen bed rooms were lovely. staff were incredibly friendly throughout the stay, bar was great and the hotel is walking distance from the angel tube station so that was a bonus.

Came up to islington for my birthday. there was a concert at the o2 academy. had a fantastic time and the hotel was great. good service, clean and comfortable room. would recommend it to anyone. will definately use it again. thankyou.

Can't fault the hotel at all, room was clean and comfortable and a good size, pleasantly surprised to find working air con, especially as we'd picked the hottest day of the year to stay. reception was efficient and polite, location perfect for a trip to the o2 academy, (just round the corner), would definately stay again, and would recommend to anyone.

A comfortable, lower priced hotel close to those places that i needed to visit. surprisingly spacious and modern with attractive foyer/reception. room was larger and better equipped than i thought it would be.

We came for a local wedding and the location was great, the room was clean with great views over london. the bathroom was also clean with all you may need of soaps and shower liquids. the breakfast was also good and plentiful. the hotel was good value for money and if i came to this location again i would consider staying at this hotel.

Would say this hotel is more of a four star. we were put in a family room at the front of the hotel it was a bit noisy so i asked to move. they were fantastic moved us to the back of the hotel it was very quiet. the rooms are large and very clean and the staff are very friendly.

This is a perfectly adequate hotel located near to bus and tube stops. the reception area, lifts and staff are all first rate, whilst the rooms, dining area and facilities are average for a 3* hotel.the towels, showers and tvs are in need of updating. we have used this hotel before and will probably use it again.

Reception seemed impressive, so i had high hopes for my two night stay here. unfortunately, it went downhill from there. the room was adequate, bed was as hard as a rock, bath was dirty and had pubic hairs in! no complemetary biscuits, the kettle had a mind of its own - and when i asked for some biscuits, they wanted to charge me £2.00 for them!! now thats not a lot of money, but why should i pay for something you normally expect free? the room was terribly noisy at night - like we were sleeping on top of an industrial generator. the heating blew cold air the majority of the time before breaking down. continental breakfast was fine - but we were expected to drink warm cloudy orange juice and eat from dirty plates using dirty cutlery!! £2.50 upgrade to a cooked breakfast was cheap enough - but it didnt detract fom an overall feeling of cheapness and lack of caring from the hotel staff and management. the card swipe for my room kept failing. i can not tell you how frustating it is to get to your room to find yourself locked out - then having to march all the way back to reception for them to sort it out! the worst thing is - i could have booked the hilton for only £5.00 more per head!

I was pleasantly surpirsed when i arrived at the hotel- first impressions were great. the staff were efficient and the room was exactly what i needed. close to the angel tube station. the only down side was some road noise but what do you expect in inner city london!!

The hotel was very good a high quality, my only comment would be that the beds are so hard that you could not get a good nights sleep.
