Great hotel !

I have stayed many times in the burlington hotel (now doubletree hilton) and this stay did not dissapoint. rooms are spacious (although too warm) and clean, and bathroom has lovely shower. our rate included irish breakfast which is one of the best breakfasts ever had in any hotel. food is fresh and replenished often and waiter service in the restaurant is also good. location is great and the aircoach from dublin airport stops right outside the door. it is also good location for grafton street , being a 10-15 minute stroll from the hotel. if you are planning to visit the southside of dublin , then this hotel is great because you don't get caught up in city centre traffic. overall... very happy and will stay there again.

Overnight stay

Always a great place to stay, location is ideal for the aviva stadium and connections to the airport great - aircoach stops outside. renovations going on at the moment so i am eager to see the changes to the breakfast room. special mention to the welcome we get by the breakfast staff, especially the main man himself!! room was over the bar on 7th floor - noisy, hot night people outside 'till 2 am in the morning.

Great hotel

I have stayed a few times at the burlington, and each time it has not dissapointed. the location is excellent. the rooms were clean and a good size. housekeeping staff were friendly and helpul at all times. the quality of the breakfast is superb. we also ate in the sussex restaurant on friday night and the food was also excellent here too although perhaps a little expensive for what it was. my elderly father who was travelling with us was taken ill and the hotel were very understanding and allowed us to stay in the room much later than the check out time, which was really helpful to us.

A gorgeous hotel with fantastic professional staff who make you feel welcome as soon as you arrive. beautiful rooms of a high standard of design and cleaninless. a scrumptious buffet breakfast to suit any vegetarian or meat eater.. whether you want something light or more feeling. great service from staff who work very hard!! lounge area was extremely large and comfortable. bar was very modern and had a great buzz about it. loved every minute of it.. and the price was fantastic... will return at a later date.

Burlington weekend break

Alot of money has been spent on the reception and public areas but not much on the rooms, which looked a bit tired. that being said they were clean. the picture does not reflect most of the rooms that have dated dark wood furnitire. it's fine for overnight or couple of night stay .

Star stay!

The burlington was an effortless place to stay. it had the bonus of the ifta's being hosted the same night but the hotel still treated their other residents with the up most care and attention!

Weekend break

The hotel is very freindley and clean. if you want info on things to do then this hotel has no info at all!!! it was futher out of dublin than we thought, it is 30 mins walk to st stephens green where you can get on a hop on hop off bus, if you walk to o'connell street then it is a further 20mins walk.

Great weekend stay

Me and my wife enjoyed a lovely weekend in dublin, the hotel was friendley and clean, breakfast was nicely done. the burlington is about a 10 minute walk away from the main busy areas which we found just perfect and local pubs were great, real dublin fun!

Great hotel - city too expensive

Dublin city too expensive - would not return.£6.00 a pint + food is extortion even without the poor exchange rate

Friendly and welcoming

We arrived early morning at the hotel and were told we could have our rooms at 09.30! the concierge organised our trips and couldn't have been more helpful. food was delicious, laura, in the bar, introduced us to baby guinesses!! breakfast was the best ever. all the staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. only downside was the hotel was a little out of town, ok if you are able to enjoy a little walk, 10 to 15 minutes. would recommend it and would definately stay there again

Great hotel, ok location

We stayed here for a weekend and had a great experience. for the price the facilities are excellent. breakfast had a good range of choices and was served until 11am. the local buses are great so access to town and airport was very easy and convenient. it has a bar which was expensive but all alcohol is in dublin!

Girlie weekend

Thought hotel was beautiful, very impressed all round with rooms, staff and service. downside was said there was a nightclub in blurb and was looking forward to spending 1st night dancing night away on site. sadly there was no longer a disco and only entertainment on friday evening was girl in corner of bar as a dj and then joinin in with some of the tracks with her flute. it was ametuer an like something a child would do in its bedroom. no age group in the bar seemed to gel with it and soon bar was empty !!!!!!!

Burlington hotel

Hotelsclick.com provided a really competitive rate for a city centre dublin hotel. staying in the burlington was great the only minor let down was the room size was quite small.

Great value for money

A nice, large and impressive hotel both inside and out. interior has been recently updated - very nice bar and lounge area. we had a triple room which was on the small side but more than adequate. the bathroom could do with updating though (bath coating coming adift in places). although we missed breakfast as we were on a `flying vist` the bar meal was very good and plenty of it. hotel food and drinks a little pricey though! staff were very polite and friendly and when my son arrived home in the early hours of the morning, the night porter ran out with an umbrella for him as it was raining.

Top class hotel

I have stayed at this hotel on numerous times while at the dublin horse show (2nd weekend in august) and really cannot fault it. staff, location and food are unremarkable. however as this hotel is under new management it is even better than before - the bar area is extended with even more space and the reception area is so bright and just sparkles! a pity although the nightclub is closed. check-in went well until they gave us a room which had already been occupied! embarassing but everyone makes mistakes. apologies were swiftly made and an even better room was given to us.
